Evolve North are thrilled to announce our success at this year’s Golden Bean competition, where we entered 16 categories and brought home a remarkable 14 medals! Every one of our Signature Blends received at least one award, showcasing the artistry, passion, and dedication we pour into each blend.

The Golden Bean competition is one of the most prestigious coffee roasting contests, celebrating excellence across multiple categories. This year, our blends took the spotlight in Espresso, Milk (Latte), and Pour Over Filter categories. Here’s a closer look at the awards each blend achieved:

Espresso (Short Black)

• Silver – Long Story Short: Crisp red apple and floral nectarine are enhanced by plum and blackcurrant, creating a rich, fruit-forward espresso.
• Silver – Birds of a Feather: Fruity mandarin and blackcurrant, with layers of Earl Grey, make this a vibrant espresso.
• Bronze – Morning Gorgeous: Smooth milk chocolate with floral orange blossom notes, rounded out by roasted peanuts and honey.
• Bronze – Penny For Your Thoughts: Bold dark chocolate and hazelnut, with sweetness from brown sugar, provide a balanced, indulgent experience.
• Bronze – Second Wind: Honey and caramel with roasted peanut notes offer a warm, full-bodied profile.

Milk (Latte)

• Silver – Long Story Short: The rich notes of red apple and plum, accented by blackcurrant, make for a well-rounded, slightly fruity latte experience.
